Oman imposes a general lockdown for two weeks

MUSCAT (WAF): The Supreme Committee to deal with the developments of the Corona pandemic in the Sultanate of Oman approved the imposition of a complete lockdown between the governorates from Saturday, 25 July to 8 August.

The Committee’s decision came after its meeting today, in which it also approved the closing all public places and shops during the same period from seven in the evening until six in the morning.

The Committee reaffirmed the ban on gatherings of all kinds, especially Eid prayers, traditional holiday markets and social gatherings associated with Eid.
