Oman eases Corona’s measures

MUSCAT (WAF): The Supreme Committee for following up on the developments of the Corona pandemic in the Sultanate of Oman announced the end of the state of isolation between the governorates that started on 25 July and is scheduled to end on Saturday, 8 August.

The statement issued today by the committee said that it was decided to end the ban on cross-governorate movement at 6:am on 8 August, while the lockdown of Dhofar Governorate continues until further notice.

The committee also decided to reduce the duration of curfew to be from 9:00 pm to 5:1m, instead of 7:pm to 6:00 am as of 8 August.
