Oman oil production rise by 7.3%, but exports decline

MUSCAT (WAF)- Oman’s average daily production of oil in August amounted to 720,300 barrels, a rise of 7.6% compared to July’s, Oman News Agency reported citing the monthly report by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals.

According to the report, Oman’s average daily export of crude oil and condensates was 744,736 barrels, a decrease of 4.28%, compared to July’s exports.

China continues to be the primary buyer, with 86.2% of Oman’s oil exports in August, followed by Japan and Myanmar, with 4.3% for each, Malaysia with 3%, and India with 2.2%.
