Oman affirms its position against “intervention” in Saudi-Canada stand-off

Muscat (WAF): Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement today with regards to the current Saudi-Canadian dispute, condemning external intervention in domestic matters and hoping for the two countries to end the stand-off.

“Oman has been following the current political situation between the sisterly Saudi Arabia and Canada. The Sultanate affirms its firm position that states shouldn’t intervene in the internal affairs of other countries. And hopes that this position will be overcome by the two countries”, MoFA brief Arabic statement said.
