Muscat (WAF): The government of Oman suspended the 10% tax on dividends and interest for three years, Oman’s Capital Market Authority (CMA) announced today.

The Omani regulator said the decision is aimed at offering incentives “to attract more foreign investments”, quoting Abdullah al-Salmi, Executive President of CMA.

According to CMA’s statement, the suspension of this tax takes effect as of 6th of May 2019, and the three years can be extended.
