Muscat (WAF): Muscat Securities Market (MSM) has revised its main index MSM30 and the three sectorial indices, a circular by MSM showed.
The revised MSM30 index adds Oman Refreshment Company (ORCI), Muscat Finance (MFCI), Al Sawadi Power (SUWP), Al Batinah Power (BATP), and Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing (MHAS).
And the five companies leaving the index are: Al Izz Islamic Bank (BKIZ), National Gas (NGCI), Al Jazeera Services (AJSS), Al Madina Investment (AMII), and Oman & Emirates Investment Holding (OEIO).
The Financial, Services, and Industrial indices are seeing minor changes. In the financial index, Muscat Finance is replacing Oman & Emirates Investment Holding. Dhofar Generating Company and Muscat City Desalination are taking the places of Sohar Power and Oman National Engineering Investment in the services index.
And National Detergent and Oman Chlorine are replacing Gulf International Chemicals and National Mineral Water in the Industrial index.
The modified sample shall be effective as of Monday 1st of July 2019.
