MUSCAT (WAF)- Oman Air is sending its pilots, cabin crew and engineering staff in an unpaid leave for six months due to the ongoing impact of the spread of the Coronavirus, an announcement by the HR department at the Company said.

In a circular, dated 31 August, the Company said that the leave-without-pay programme starts as of today. “Airlines around the world, including Oman Air, are implementing cost-cutting measures to ensure that they survive and are able to avoid further staff redundancies,” the Company said.
