MUSCAT (WAF): Badr al-Busaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister, said that his country was able to “stop” countries from intervening in domestic affairs with diplomacy rather than “conflict”.
“We have had our share of countries interfering in the internal affairs of my country,” the Omani official said while participating in Manama Dialogue 2020 in Bahrain today. He added that Oman was able to stop their interventions by engaging these countries and reaching understandings with them instead of resorting to conflicts while confirming Oman’s peaceful foreign policy and inviting other countries to follow its footsteps towards a peaceful solution as an answer to political differences.
