MUSCAT (WAF)- Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) received an overwhelming demand to its 10-year bonds with orders worth $4.5 billion, sources familiar with the deal’s details told WAF News.
OETC, a state-controlled company and a subsidiary of Nama Group, was initially aiming to raise $600 million with a maturity of 10 years.
According to a document issued by one of the banks leading the issue, OETC was marketing the bonds at 6.250%- 6.375%. But the company had a successful book closing at even a better yield of 5.8%; one source told WAF.
